 With social media news spreads a lot quicker, these days but make sure you still add news to your site.- Ideally make it keyword rich if you can.
- Include pictures, and make sure they are labelled and the image name is keyworded.
- Keeping even simple record of news is great way of building up content. Google likes a site that is worked on often. And bonus points are given for having historical information.
- WordPress sites can be updated from a smartphone, with pictures and text. It literally takes a moment to do
